The Fate of Superman Has Been Revealed

SPOILERS AHEAD. Seriously, stop reading if you don't want to know. Alright. Onwards...

Today, Superman: Rebirth #1 came out, and the piece immediately reads at a notably slower pace. Superman meets the post-Flashpoint version of his old friend Lana, part-time love interest Lana Lang. 

Along the Lana Lang reunion tour he tells Lang about his death at the hands of Doomsday in 1992's Superman #75; and his resurrection afterwards, resulting from a combination of events/individuals on pre-Flashpoint Earth.

It is then however, that the two realize the New 52 Superman -- who sacrificed his life in last week's Superman #52 is now gone forever. RIP Superman 52, you will be missed.
